Matcha Chia Oats With Orange Raspberry Compote

GREEN TEA OATS Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 0.25 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp. Sunkist® orange zest
  • 1 tsp. matcha powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 0.75 cup gluten free rolled oats

COMPOTE Ingredients

  • 2 Sunkist® oranges, peeled and diced (or segmented)
  • 1 tbsp. seedless raspberry jam, melted (optional)
  • 0.5 cup fresh raspberries

PREP TIME

Preparation: 15 minutes

Inactive Time: 8 hours

GREEN TEA OATS

Directions

  1. In a bowl, stir together the honey and warm water until dissolved. Add the orange zest, matcha powder, almond milk, chia seeds and oats. Stir to combine well.
  2. Divide between 4 half-pint mason jars (or keep in the prep bowl). Cover with a lid and let sit overnight in the refrigerator to plump for at least 8 hours.
  3. Top with compote the next morning or before serving.

    Note:
    • Be sure to allow at least 8 hours for the mixture to plump.

COMPOTE

Directions

  1. Make the compote: mix together the orange and jam and stir to coat. Fold in the raspberries.
