A twist on the classic Singaporean breakfast, Orange French Toast has a subtle sweetness that’s perfect for a weekend morning indulgence when paired with Kaya and a cup of Kopi-O.
Directions
- Whisk eggs, orange zest, orange juice, ground cinnamon in a large shallow bowl.
- Dip 1 slice bread into egg mixture for 1 minute each side.
- Add butter to melt in a frying pan, place the eggy bread to cook for 2 minutes on each side over medium low heat until golden.
- Dust icing sugar over orange toast, and kaya on the side.
- Garnish with orange slices before serving.
